My main interests lie in the field of microprocessing and novel computing architectures, where I have participated in some research within the Logic Systems Laboratory at EPFL:

• Von Neumann and Pesavento's automata: I've developped this Java applet for demonstration and student training purposes;
• Toward a novel FPGA architecture: self-repairing and reproducing logic systems. I'm currently developping a complete CAD tool to help configuring such complex systems.

I've also spent four months within the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory where I've successfully completed my diploma thesis about automatic profile extraction on the web, allowing user-adaptive web pages.

My current activities are linked to B&W and color reproduction using artistic dithering and means to create non-reproductible paper documents. This research may lead to a PhD within the Peripheral Systems Laboratory.

As a hobby, I have also developped a complete Thomson MO5 emulator under MS-DOS and Linux.
